What a busy term we have had in class. We have been really lucky to have Mrs Allen in class for 5 weeks. During the term we have had Top Team, rugby skills, athletics, as well as getting lots of learning done.

We have been writing poems about what we like and don’t like. I like my first sentence best. My picture is a boat.
I like lions but I don’t like cheetahs. I like motorbikes but I don’t like dirt. I like dragon fruit but I don’t like apples. I like boats but I don’t like when it wobbles. I like concerts but I don’t like when it gets really loud. I like school but I don’t like it when it rains.

We were really lucky to have Tussock and Jane visit for the first time this year. Tussock joined in with some Bingo for reading today. Tūī really enjoyed having Tussock and Jane. We look forward to seeing them again soon.
What an awesome first week we have had! All the students have been working really hard and showing the school values within the class. We have been doing art, P.E., Writing, Maths and had a lot of fun! We are already to start to get into some harder work next week!
What a great day we had today on our first day back. Everyone shared what they did in the holidays and caught up with their friends. We had Mr Butler come in for P.E. and then we had a creative afternoon doing some drawing. They told me that they are looking forward to coming back tomorrow!
